Markets
OpenMediaLogic in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is the platform's third market. OpenMediaLogic has been running here since 2024: 50+ users, among them AzTV and the state radio stations.
What already runs
- Broadcast grid and inventory management for TV and radio in one interface
- Online booking for agencies: slots, prices and availability visible immediately
- Broadcast certificates and closing documents from actual airtime
- Action logs and transparent tender procedures — what a state broadcaster is required to have
What the neighbouring markets teach
The scenario that gave a state broadcaster in Uzbekistan +47% occupancy and 120+ new advertisers repeats: inventory moves into a shared environment, agencies get a convenient way in, and the regulator gets automatic reporting. The details are in the NTRC case study.
How the market is set up
- TV audience measurement — MARSA (Azerbaijan Media Audience Research System), the industry's measurement system built on Kantar technology; the planning module takes its data through the API and calculates GRP, CPP and reach on it
- Regulator — the Media and Broadcasting Council, since September 2026 the successor to the Audiovisual Council and the dissolved Media Development Agency; it licenses broadcasters and enforces the Law on Advertising, including advertising time limits. Limits are checked in the scheduling step, and the regulator's reporting is produced from the as-run log
- Electronic invoicing — domestic settlements run through the State Tax Service's electronic invoice (e-qaimə-faktura); the platform issues a deal's closing documents from the record the booking was made in and hands them to the electronic workflow through the API
